Historic Peninsula Inn (www.historicpeninsulainn.com) – When this 100-year-old Bed & Breakfast in small-town Gulfport, Fla. completed a $250,000 renovation to make itself more environmentally sustainable, it used a new type of federal financing known as PACE – Property Assessed Clean Energy program. The Inn’s proprietor, Veronica Champion wanted to share her experience with the PACE program with other business owners. She also wanted to promote her property in order to increase occupancy during the slow summer months. So she contracted with DJ Public Relations in order to obtain positive media coverage for the Historic Peninsula Inn.
